HAWKINSVILLE, Ga. - Robert Ray "Bob" Wilson of Hawkinsville went to be with his Lord on Wednesday (Sept. 4, 2013).

Mr. Wilson was born May 31, 1941, in Bradford, Pa., the son of Bill and Lorraine Davis. He lived in Bradford until he moved to Warner Robins in 1968.
He was retired from Frito Lay in Perry.
He was a member of the Westview Baptist Church and Sanctuary Sunday school class, where he served on the hospitality, cleaning and benevolence committees and worked with the Samaritans Purse campaign.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Dart Wilson; and his mother, Lorraine Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Sorrow Wilson; his father, Bill Davis of Bradford; a son, Scott Wilson of Courtland, Va.; a daughter, Amy Wilson of Covington; four grandsons, Eric and Michael Wilson and Shawn and Jason Trowbridge; and brothers, Jim Wilson of Warner Robins and Ed Davis, Tom Davis and Steve Davis, all of Bradford.
A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Westview Baptist Church in Hawkinsville.
The family requests that memorials be made to Westview Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 433 Columbus Hwy., Hawkinsville, GA 31036.
