KENMORE, N.Y. - Ruth M. Kautz Thornton of the Town of Tonawanda, formerly of Bradford, Pa., passed away at 102 years old on Friday (Nov. 6, 2015).
She was a wife of the late Richard W. Thornton, dear mother of David (Janet) Thornton and Carol (Otu Obot) Obot, loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, sister of Mary A. Kautz of Bradford, predeceased by three brothers and survived by nieces and nephews.
Ruth was a 1931 graduate of Bradford High School and former member of Grace Lutheran Church, Bradford.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Pilgrim Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kenmore, followed by interment at 2 p.m. at Allegany Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are by D. Lawrence Ginnane Funeral Home, Kenmore.
