Sharon L. King, 70, of 150 Barbour St., passed away Sunday (Nov. 29, 2015) at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born in Bradford on April 3, 1945, she was a daughter of the late William Emerus and Elizabeth Kline Bretherton Sr.
On Sept. 18, 1993, she married Robert J. King Sr., who survives.
She was a graduate of Bradford High School.
She worked at many places in the Bradford area, including Zippo Manufacturing, The DeSoto Holiday House, Tops Market, The Star Restaurant and Parkview Supermarket.
She was an active member of the American Legion, Post #108 Frances Sherman Auxiliary.
She is survived by three children, Vicki Zawatski, Troy Britton and Lori (Charlie) Britton, all of Bradford; a sister, Sandra Britton of Erie; a brother, Richard Bretherton in Kansas; four stepchildren; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one stepdaughter.
Friends are invited to call from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., South Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes, retired minister, officiating.
