ST. MARYS - Sheryl M. Himes, 67, of 185 Center St., Elk Towers, St. Marys, passed away Tuesday (June 4, 2013) at her residence.

She was born Aug. 27, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of James and Shirley Rawley Hopkins. On Jan. 12, 1979, in Willoughby, Ohio, she married Narue W. Himes, who survives.
She had resided in St. Marys since 2008. She attended schools in Wickliffe, Ohio. She was a former employee of the particle board plant in Mount Jewett.
She was a great monther and friend who always gave more than she had. She loved everyone and everything and never expected anything in return. She was a devoted and dedicated person; her family will miss her. May God welcome her with open arms and tell her "Welcome home."
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Priscilla (Glen Miller) Himes of Ridgway; two sons, Brian Eskins and James (Heather) Eskins, both of Willoughby; seven grandchildren, Kerstin Eskins, Kelsey Eskins, Kerah Eskins, Kaylee Eskins, Morgan Himes, Ariel Miller and Isabella Miller; and two sisters, Barbara Iaboni and Michelle Falkenburg, both in Ohio.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Alfred Eskins, John Eskins and Narue Himes II.
There will be no visitation. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lynch-Radkowski FuneralHome with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, officiating.
