CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Shirley Shea DeJarnette, 72, of Keswick, died Friday (Oct. 2, 2015) at her home.

Born Feb. 21, 1943, in Bradford, Pa., she was the daughter of the late James Harold Shea and Jean Dennis Shea. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jaquelin Harrison DeJarnette.
She had a long career in the financial management industry, was a Chartered Financial Analyst, and worked for Boatman's Bank, Kraft, Cummins Engine, Mead Corp., Chase Manhattan Bank, the University of Missouri System, and CFA.
Mrs. DeJarnette was a life member of St. James's Episcopal Church in Richmond and the Country Club of Virginia.
She graduated from Bradford High School in Bradford, and graduated from Stephen's College and the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.
She is survived by her daughter, Shea Ann DeJarnette of Wintergreen.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. James's Episcopal Church in Richmond.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hill and Wood Funeral Home, Charlottesville.
