Theodore V. "Ted" Curcio III, 68, of Eufaula, Ala., formerly of Bradford, passed away Thursday (Aug. 4, 2016) at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born Nov. 19, 1947, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Theodore A. Curcio Jr. and Mary D. Passeur Curcio.
He attended Bradford schools and graduated in 1965 from Bradford Central Christian High School. He was a graduate of Pittsburgh Technical College.
Ted was an electrical engineer specializing in computer software and processing steel. He was a project engineer at Carbo Electronics in Eufaula, Dietrich Metal Framing in Hammond, Ind., and Dresser Rand in Bradford.
Ted was an avid golfer and supporter of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. He was an advocate for children's education and helped many children find their way. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving, in addition to his wife Charlotte, are two daughters, Wendy (Joseph) Yaros of Bradford and Jennifer Curcio of Columbus, Ohio; three stepchildren; 12 grandchildren, including Terra Tingley, Katlyn Langdon, Jordan Yaros, Kelsey Langdon, Joseph Yaros, Kyle Langdon, and Faith Langdon; two great-grandchildren, Deliah Tingley and Roman Pire; one brother, Thadd "Todd" Curcio; and one sister, Bonnie Swatt.
Funeral services were held on Aug. 8 in Eufaula. Burial was in Sardis Freewill Baptist Cemetery.
