ARNOLD - Thomas John Shearon, 49, of New Kensington, died Monday (April 27, 2015) in Pittsburgh.
He was born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 2, 1966, to the late Thomas W. and Danula Telerski Shearon and has been a lifelong resident of New Kensington.
Mr. Shearon worked as a teacher for St. Mary School, New Kensington; Indianland High School in South Carolina; and Alternative Education, Bradford; and as a principal for St. James, Apollo; and Holy Cross; Youngwood. Most recently Tom worked security for the Frick Museum, Pittsburgh.
He was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington and enjoyed reading, collecting art, fishing, spending time with family, golf, tennis, baseball and visiting his camp in Cochranton.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Angela Chirillo Shearon; and two sons, Spenser and Parker Shearon, both at home.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rusiewicz of Arnold Funeral Home, Fifth Avenue at Fourteenth Street, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Charles Schmitt. Burial will be private.
