ELDRED - Treva M. Stuckey, 82, of Newell Creek Road, passed away on Monday (April 6, 2015) at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Born July 10, 1932, in Murfreesboro, Tenn., she was a daughter of Jim Davis and Eddie Lee Perry Butner. On Aug. 13, 1948, in Folkston, Ga., she married Truman S. Stuckey, who passed away on April 17, 2010.
Treva had attended Tennessee schools and had resided on Newell Creek since 1957. She had been employed at Viko Furniture, which later became Ethan Allen Furniture, for many years, retiring in 1994.
Treva was the matriarch of a large and extended loving family and had enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She also enjoyed sewing and cooking and hiking in the woods with her husband.
Surviving are one son, Larry Stuckey of Newell Creek; four daughters, Peggy Maynard and Lisa (Vince Radtke) Hannahs, both of Newell Creek, Janet Stuckey of Lafayette and Vicki Butler of Smethport; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dorris Butner of Middletown, N.J.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Stanley Stuckey in 1991 and Randy Stuckey in 2011; and three brothers, Walter, Raymond and William Butner.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Jay Tennies officiating. Burial will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Portville, N.Y.
