JOHNSONBURG - Theresa A. Murray, 67, of 115 Kings Point, Glenshaw, died Thursday evening (April 17, 2014) at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh following a brief illness.
She was born on June 6, 1946, in Ridgway, a daughter of Ferdinand "Fred" and Agnes Myers Calla. On Oct. 10, 1975, she married Patrick J. Murray, who survives. She resided in Glenshaw for the past 34 years.
She graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1964 and was a member of St. Sebastian Church. She was employed by Keystone Carbon Co. for several years and Andrew Kaul Memorial Hospital for several years.
She is survived by her husband, at home; two sons, Michael "Mike" (Rachel) Murray and Brian P. Murray, both of Pittsburgh; one grandchild, Caitlin Murray; and two brother and two sisters, Edward J. Calla of Kersey, John T. (Mary Ann) Calla of Johnsonburg, Mary (Jack) Mecca of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Rose M. Calla of Johnsonburg.
She was predeceased by her parents.
A Mass of Christian burial for Theresa A. Murray will be conducted at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg on Tuesday with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Anthony F Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg.
