KANE - Joseph Clark Adams, 71, of 209 Market St., Warren, formerly of Kane, died Saturday evening (May 10, 2014) at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Born Sept. 16, 1942, in Randleman, N.C., he was the son of Joseph C. and Anna T. Threadgill Adams. On March 19, 1972, in Chesterfield, S.C., he married the former Beverly Irwin, who survives.
Joe had been a mechanic at Stackpole Corp. in Kane for 32 years.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Warren and a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Kane. He was an avid pool player and participated in many tournaments.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Crystal Brown, Melissa Adams and Debbie Luck, all of Randleman, N.C.; a brother, Tracy Adams in Alabama; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home Inc. in Kane, where a service will immediately follow with the Rev. David Pflieger, chaplain of The Lutheran Home at Kane, officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Kane.
