Gloria K. Campbell, 87, a loving mother and grandmother, of 127 Russell Boulevard, passed away Sunday (May 25, 2014) at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born Oct. 13, 1926, in Tonawanda, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Lewis Elson and Mabel C. Eckhart Paynter. On Dec. 15, 1950, in Rockville, Md., she married Malcolm F. Campbell, who died Oct. 1, 2005.
Mrs. Campbell was a 1945 graduate of Bradford High School, a graduate of Bryant & Stratton Business School in Buffalo, N.Y., and the Barbizon Modeling School in New York City.
She had worked as a secretary for John Depetro for 30 years. After retirement, she worked at Craig Hallock's Gift Shop.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Triangle Club.
Mrs. Campbell was an upbeat cheerful person, with an impeccable sense of style. Gloria was always meticulously dressed in her colorful wardrobe. She was also an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and loved all dogs.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Jo (Paul) Speranza of Endicott, N.Y., and Natalie A. (Dr. Robert) Norris of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Craig L. (Nancy) Campbell of Bradford; four grandchildren, Brian, Emily, Tina and Lisa; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Robert and Max; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lewis Elson Paynter, who died during World War II, and Warren Paynter; and one sister, Asia Clemens.
Family will be receiving friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main St., where funeral and committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Dr. David Lee officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
