Martha D. Toothman, 82, of Bradford, passed away on Wednesday (Aug. 13, 2014) at the Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

She was born on April 4, 1932 in Daybrook, W.Va., a daughter of the late Stephen and Artrolia Chisler Moore.
She was a 1951 graduate of Farmington High School, Farmington, W.Va.
In 1952 in Bradford, she married Ronald D. Toothman, who preceded her in death on June 17, 1987.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and she enjoyed getting out of the house and going for walks in her spare time.
She is survived two sons, Dennis Toothman of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Gary (Heather) Toothman of Willard, Utah; three sisters, Bonnie Nichols of Bradford, Frankie Stewart in West Virginia and Glenda Peer of Bradford; one son-in-law, Dale Pentecost of Dover, Tenn., five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Pentecost and one sister, Cleda Vecellio.
At her request, there will be no visitation. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
