Harold L. ""Rusty"" Peabody, 65, of Bradford, formerly of Harrington, Del., passed away on Friday (Sept. 28, 2012) at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, N.Y.

He was born on June 20, 1947, in Kane, the son of the late Edward L. and Margaret I. Young Peabody.
He was a lifelong member of the Moose International.
He is survived by one son, Glen Peabody; one daughter, Kim Peabody; one brother, Robert Lydick of Knoxville, Tenn.; three sisters, Sharon (Peter) Schweinberg of Lewis Run, Barbara Snively of Apex, N.C., and Lesa Phillips of Albuquerque, N.M.; stepfather, Glen Lydick of Albuquerque; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Peabody and Margaret Lydick; and his wife, Charlotte Peabody.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mascho Funeral Home Inc. with a memorial service immediately following with the Rev. Stephen L. Collins, pastor of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church in Lewis Run, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions in his memory be made to the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113, Bradford, PA 16701.
