Pauline A. Hendryx, 86, of 27 Edgewood Road, Bradford, passed away Saturday (Sept. 29, 2012) surrounded by her loving family at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Born in Custer City on June 29, 1926, she was a daughter of the late John G. and Mary E. Kosmal Cassick. On June 19, 1948, in the Rectory of St. Bernard Church, she married Thomas C. Hendryx, who survives.
She was employed at Thomas K. Hendryx Registered Architect prior to her marriage, later at Plexowood and prior to her retirement was director of the Area Transportation Authority for the Office of Aging.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 64 years, is one daughter, Judy Cameron of Bradford; three sons, Dr. Jan T. Hendryx of Erie, Jeff J. (Tina) Hendryx of Marshburg and Gary R. Hendryx of Bradford; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gregg S. Hendryx; one granddaughter, Alissa Cameron; one son-in-law, Donald Cameron; three brothers, John, Stephen and Joseph Cassick; and one sister, Margaret Barnes.
Family will be receiving friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., South Avenue, and again from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday in the First Presbyterian Church, where funeral services will follow with the Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes, pastor, officiating. Committal services and burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to Lambda Xi Scholarship Fund in Memory of Alissa Cameron in care of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, 300 Campus Drive, Bradford, PA 16701; or the First Presbyterian Church.
