ST. MARYS - Charles B. Wolff, 85, of Daguscahonda, died on Wednesday evening (Oct. 10, 2012) at the Christ the King Manor in DuBois following a brief illness.

He was born May 28, 1927, in St. Marys, a son of the late Miles R. and Margaret Watson Wolff. On July 2, 1949, in Ridgway, he married E. Louise Eynon Wolff, who preceded him in death on Aug. 26, 1998.
Mr. Wolff retired from Stackpole Carbon as a truck driver and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Ridgway Fire Department Auxiliary. He was affectionately known as "Gramps" and was an active member of the Island Run Fish Hatchery and greatly enjoyed spending time there. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the last member of his immediate family.
He is survived by his daughters, Kay Zameroski of Ridgway and Fay (Mark) Lunger of St. Marys; son, Dan F. Wolff of Ridgway; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Miles Wolff Jr. and Donald W. "Kike" Wolff; two sisters, Elva Wolff and Helen Snyder; and son-in-law, John Zameroski.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 North Michael St., St. Marys. Burial will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
