Leroy F. "Lee" Dewyer, 58, of 2961 West Washington St., passed away Thursday (Nov. 15, 2012) at Bradford Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Born Sept. 8, 1954, in Bradford, he was a son of Edith M. Holsinger Dewyer, with whom he resided, and his father, the late Phillip R. Dewyer Sr.
He was a 1972 graduate of Bradford High School and served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He worked at Snap Tite in Meadville making tools. He returned to Bradford, and was employed by Valu Home Center.
He was a member of the Corydon Township Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Nancy Dewyer of Willow Creek and Linda (Rudy) Luce of Marshburg; a brother, Phillip (Ann) Dewyer Jr. of Willow Creek; a foster brother, Bruce Durgan; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will be receiving friends Monday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., East Main Street, from noon to 2 p.m., at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Robert Brest, pastor of the First Free Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Corydon-Riverview Cemetery.
