JOHNSONBURG - Louis A. Allegretto, 85, of Rasselas Road, Wilcox, died Wednesday morning (Jan. 16, 2013) at Kane Community Hospital, following a brief illness.
He is survived by his second wife Vona Lee Walters Allegretto at home; children Cathy Howard of Johnsonburg, Joan Allegretto and Larry Allegretto, both of Rasselas, and Raymond Allegretto of Wilcox; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; stepchildren Colleen (John) Brown and David (companion Donna) Dorley, all of Ridgway; five stepgrandchildren; 7 stepgreat-grandchildren; brothers Eugene (Norma) Allegretto of Bradford and Albert Allegretto of Rassleas; and a sister Beatrice (Frank) Atkins of Arden, N.C.
Private visitation will be held on Friday. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Friday after 2 p.m. at the Wilcox American Legion, Clarion Street, Wilcox.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Rasselas.
