Douglas Lennard Wagner, 55, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son, of 28 Rew Service Road, Rew, passed away unexpectedly Monday (June 17, 2013) at Bradford Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 6, 1958, in Bradford, he is a son of George Lennard and JoEllan Jacoby Wagner who survive. On June 30, 1979, he married Margie Groce Wagner at the Sawyer United Methodist Church by the late Rev. Charles Renshaw.
Mr. Wagner was a 1976 graduate of Bradford Area High School. He had worked for his father, George's Tree Service, W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery Co., McKean Manufacturing, Trico Industries, GKN Enterprises, and currently as a production engineer for Keystone Powdered Metal Co.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery and golf. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and NASCAR fan, and loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, mother and father, he is survived by two daughters, Jodie Wagner and Krystal (Chris Griffin) Wagner, all of Bradford; two sisters, Barbara Jo (Ashley) Bartley of Butler; and Shasta Wagner of Bradford, one brother, Stephen "Skeeter" Wagner of Bradford; two grandchildren, Hannah Schleicher and Blaze Schleicher; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family will be receiving friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., East Main Street. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
