Robert Gale Cole WARDSBORO Robert Gale Cole, 62, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 16, 2011. He was the son of the late William and Alta (Benoit) Cole. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and was very good at both. He was a truck driver for many years and loved it very much. He also loved to watch the Boston red sox. He is survived by three sisters, his twin sister Roberta Gauthreaux of Louisiana, Joan Staib of Wardsboro, and Ruth Slade of Hinsdale, N.H. He is also survived by one brother, William Cole Jr. of Lyndonville, Vt., and by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and by one sister, Frances Luicer. FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service will be held at the West Wardsboro cemetery on August 27th, 2011 at 11 a.m. Donations may be made to the Wardsboro Fire and Rescue squad. Arrangements are in the care of the White Funeral Home in Townshend.
