Feidelseit, Ina - Brattleboro  
Ina Feidelseit BRATTLEBORO Ina Feidelseit, 72, of Marlboro Avenue, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home Wednesday evening, April 29, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Paterson, N.J., Ina lived in Brattleboro for more than 40 years. Ina attended Douglass College, where she met her partner, Phil, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Education. She later earned a Master of Education degree focused on Guidance and Counseling from Antioch College. Ina worked in a variety of jobs, as receptionist for Dr. David Albright, other physicians and the Brattleboro Music Center, and most recently as a paraeducator at Academy School, assisting in the first and second grade classrooms and the library. Following retirement, Ina volunteered at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, working Transportation and at the Information Desk. In 1979, Ina was one of four founders of Brattleboro Area Hospice, which began as a volunteer organization by community members interested in ensuring that their dying and grieving neighbors received compassionate and appropriate assistance. Ina was a loving partner, mother and grandmother, who devoted the largest part of her focus and energy to her family. In addition to Phil, she is survived by her two children, Larry Feidelseit of Germantown, Md., and Marlene Barry of South Freeport, Maine; and four grandchildren, Erica and Kara Feidelseit, and Ben and Emma Barry. She also leaves one sister, Ellen Harnett of Wayne, N.J. FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 3, at Next Stage Arts Project on Kimball Hill in Putney, Vt. Fontaine, Dorothy - Brattleboro  
Dorothy "Dottie" Ann Fontaine BELLOWS FALLS, VT. Dorothy "Dottie" Ann Fontaine died on April 28, 2015, following a 2 1/2 year journey with Ovarian Cancer. Dottie Ann was born to John and Dorothy O'Connor, of Bellows Falls; attended St. Charles School and Bellows Falls High School, class of 1951, and married Eugene Fontaine in 1953, who survives her. Dottie worked at the NE Tel & Tel, the dental office of Dr. Roger Reckis, the chiropractic office of Dr. Vernon Temple, The Rockingham Public Library, The Rockingham School District and The Bellows Falls Union High School, and volunteered at the Bellows Falls Senior Center. She was an inspiration to her family, well known for her spirit and kindness, and will be missed by many. Surviving her are daughter, Susan Tomberg and her husband, Louis of Bellows Falls with children; Chris, Kate and Matt; son, Brian Fontaine and his wife, Yvette of Lebanon, NH, with children; Garrett and Joshua; son, Tom Fontaine and his wife, Tammy of Perkinsville, VT with children; Liza and Chad; and son, Barry Fontaine and wife, Margaret of Niceville, FL with children; Megan and Bailey. Also included are her four great-grandchildren, Cole and Taylor Tomberg and Mollee and Sam Thurston. She is predeceased by their infant son, Daniel and their eldest son, Timothy of Bellows Falls, his daughters are Reilly, Chemarin and Daretye Fontaine. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral Services will be at St. Charles Church on Saturday, May 2, at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Springfield Hospital Oncology Clinic, Springfield, VT or The Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Only through research can this disease be defeated.
