Emma Lenora Tudor Brown NEWFANE VT Emma Lenora (Tudor) Brown, 94, of Newfane Vermont, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011, of natural causes at the Thompson House Nursing Home in Brattleboro. She was the wife of 53 years of the late Clarence Brown Sr. Born in Wardsboro, the daughter of the late George and the late Lidie(Allen)Tudor, she had seven brothers and sister, she was a mother to seven children, grandmother to 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 23 great great grandchildren. She is survived by many nephews and nieces. She was an avid reader and loved flowers and working in her gardens. She landscaped her home and yard from seedlings and seeds. When she was able, she loved to take walks after dinner especially if there was a snow storm. She loved her home and lived there with her animals until she was 93. She loved cooking for family and friends. Survivors include her daughter Priscilla Brown Fitzpatrick and husband Willard of Wardsboro, son Clarence Brown Jr. and wife Patricia of Newfane, son Stephen Brown and wife Diane of South Newfane, daughter Audrey Brown Beaudoin and husband Gerald of Mattapoisett, Mass., late daughter Sheila Brown of Townshend, son Douglas Brown and wife Charlene of Wardsboro and son Edward Brown and wife Sherry of Townshend. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Mrs. brown will be on Thursday June 2, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the West Wardsboro Cemetery in Wardsboro, VT.
