Jennifer (Regan) Ruffino

MIDDLETOWN, CONN. Jennifer Jeanne (Regan) Ruffino, 65, beloved wife of Louis Ruffino, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 surrounded by her family at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Middletown, Conn. she was the daughter of Betsey (Hurlbut) Regan of Brookline, VT and the late James Regan, Jr. Jennifer lived in Middletown all of her life and graduated from The Shepard-Gill School of Practical Nursing in Boston, Mass. She worked as an LPN at Maple View Manor in Wethersfield and enjoyed cruises and ocean breezes. Along with her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Richard Reynolds and his wife, Mary of East Haddam, Conn., and Patrick Reynolds of Middletown, Conn.; a brother, James Regan, III of Plainville, Conn.; a sister, Colleen R. Tomasso and her husband, David, Jr. of Cromwell, Conn.; three grandchildren, Andrew, Daniel and Patrick, Jr. Reynolds; her special friends, Lisa Moody and Linda Kessler and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 13 at 10 a.m. in Trinity Cemetery, Main Street, Portland, Conn. Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the DOOLITTLE FUNERAL HOME, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown, Conn. For those for who prefer, donations may be made in Jennifer's memory to Amazing Grace Food Pantry, 16 Stack Street, Middletown, Conn. 06457. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
