BELLOWS FALLS Ann (Park) Kuusela, 78, of Saxton's River Rd. passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in the home she had lived in for 54 years.She is the daughter of the late Charles L. Park, Jr. and Edna Herridon. Befitting of her kindness and compassion for others, Ann was a nurse with numerous years of service at Rockingham Memorial Hospital as well as Springfield Health & Rehab, and continued to work at other facilities well past normal retirement age. Personally, she enjoyed the beach, camping, knitting/crocheting, crafts and gardening, as well as caring for and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ann is survived by her husband, George M. Kuusela, married May 12, 1956 and four children; Allen (and Michelle) Kuusela of Springfield, VT, Carol (and Jim) Hampshire of Grafton, VT, Claire Merchant of Cambridgeport, VT, and Cynthia (and Morris) Gendron, of Dummerston, VT. Ann leaves seven grandchildren, Jillian Taylor of Rockingham, VT, Laura Gibbons of Lisbon, ME, Marshall Coats of Johnson, VT, Ashley Walker of Sanford, ME, Claire Loubier of Dummerston, VT, Aaron Hart of Cambridgeport, VT and Hunter Kuusela of Springfield, VT.; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is survived by a brother, Dr. Robert Park of Gibsonia, PA and she was predeceased by a sister, Nancy (Park) White of Lebanon, N.H. SERVICES: A service in celebration of Ann's life will be held at the Athens Church in Athens, VT at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2015 with a gathering to follow downstairs.
