1940 - 2015 BRATTLEBORO Barbara W. Beebe, 75 of Melrose Street died unexpectedly and peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Beebe was born in Providence, R.I. on June 3, 1940, the daughter of Thomas A. and Thelma E. (Field) Mulvey. She was raised and educated in Wickford, R.I. and was a graduate of North Kingstown (R.I.) High School, Class of 1958. She had been employed in the medical records department at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital where she retired. She was also a devoted homemaker who loved spending time with her family and talking with her siblings. Mrs. Beebe was a parishioner of Saint Michaels Roman Catholic Church. On June 4, 1960 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in East Greenwich, RI she was married to Victor "Pete" Beebe who predeceased her in March of 1994. Survivors include one son, Peter J. Beebe and wife, Lavona of Brattleboro, one daughter, Ann Marie Patterson and her husband, Tom also of Brattleboro, two grandchildren, Ryan Patterson of New Hyde Park, N.Y. and Kelsey Patterson of Brattleboro, one brother, Michael Mulvey of North Kingston, R.I., three sisters, Gwendolyn Baker of Ruckersville, VA, Patricia Frost of Franklin, TN, and Deborah Moss of Warwick, R.I. Additionally she leaves many nieces, nephews, and beloved pets, granddogs, "Victor" and "Catey" and grand cat, "Ting." She was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. SERVICES: In accordance with Mrs. Beebe's final wishes, memorial services will be private for the immediate family only with interment in Saint Michael's Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Windham County Humane Society, P.O. Box 397, Brattleboro, VT 05302.
