1927 - 2016 WILMINGTON, VT Beatrice Ann Lavoy (Bobbie), 89, beloved wife of Raymond C. Lavoy died at home October 13, 2016. She was born in Stamford, Vermont on September 5, 1927, the daughter of Charles and Marguerite Dunn. She was the eldest of four children, brother Charles and sisters Geraldine and Joanne. In early childhood the family moved to Wilmington where she resided the rest of her life. She graduated Wilmington High School in 1945. She was married to her husband, Raymond, for 70 years. They had 6 children; Tamara (Eugene Karwoski), Dennis, Susan (Carl Ruprecht), Mark (Marie), Christopher, Lisa (Jon Levitas). They had 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was predeceased by her sister, Joanne Brown and grandson, Kevin Lavoy. Bobbie was a homemaker and worked as bookkeeper for the family business. Some of her interests were country music and visiting flea markets. She especially enjoyed photography and always had her camera at the ready as anyone who knew her can attest. She cherished time spent with her husband, family, and friends. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Beatrice will be held Wednesday October 19, 2016 at 12noon at Covey-Allen & Shea Funeral Home 44 East Main Street Wilmington, VT. Interment will follow in the family lot in Riverview Cemetery. A visiting hour at the funeral home will be held Wednesday October 19, 2016 from 11-12noon one hour prior to the service.
