1920 - 2015 HINSDALE Beverly G. "Bev" Mack, 94, of Prospect Street, a lifelong resident of Hinsdale passed away peacefully Monday evening, Jan. 19, 2015 at Pine Heights Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the past 15 months. Mrs. Mack was born in Hinsdale on May 16, 1920, the daughter of Louis and Madge (Bruce) Deone. She attended Hinsdale public schools and was a graduate of Hinsdale High School, Class of 1938. She worked in the bindery department at the former Vermont Print where she retired from in 1982. Previously she had been employed at the former Houghton & Simons Store and former Latches Gift Shop in Brattleboro. Mrs. Mack was a devoted homemaker and of her leisure time activities she enjoyed taking day trips, going shopping with her sister, eating out and trips to Hampton Beach. She also loved taking vacations to Florida during the winter months with her husband. On Nov. 27, 1948 in Bellows Falls she was married to Ralph E. Mack who survives. Besides her faithful and devoted husband of 66 years she leaves two sons, Gary Mack and wife, Donna of Hinsdale, Terry Mack and wife, Sue of Peru, NY, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Marion "Menna" Deone who died in 2006. Services at the Atamaniuk Funeral Home will be private. Burial will take place in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery in Hinsdale, in the springtime. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Mack's name may be made to Pine Heights Nursing Home Activities Fund, 197 Oak Grove Ave., Brattleboro, VT 05301.
