Clayton M. Stowell Obituary
Clayton Maris Stowell, Kansas City, Missouri was called home October 24 after a brief, courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born November 16, 1940 in Brattleboro, Vermont, Clayton graduated from Leland & Gray Seminary before enlisting in the United States Air Force. Clayton's love of travel led him to a 33 year career with TWA in Boston and Kansas City, then 7 years with Midwest Airlines. Clayton enjoyed taking care of others by being active with Hope.wrx's backsnack and food pantry program as well as cooking for UPLIFT homeless ministry.

He was preceded in death by wife Donna; parents George and Della Stowell; and brother Roy Stowell. He is survived by daughters: Dorothy (Chris) Beckham and Carrie Stowell; grandchildren: Jonas & Jude Beckham and Rebeka Stowell; siblings: Irvin Stowell, Walter Stowell (Vicki), and Catherine Howland (Phil), as well as several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Visitation Friday, October 27 10:00 a.m. Hillside Christian Church, 900 NE Vivion Road, with Services at 11:30am. Burial 9:00 a.m. Monday at Leavenworth National Cemetery.

To honor Clayton's giving spirit the family has requested that donations may be made to the Hillside Christian Church Memorial Fund for their food pantry program in lieu of flowers
