WILLIAMSVILLE, VT. Dominic Tagariello, 76, of Williamsville, Vermont, formerly of New Britain, Connecticut, died on February 13, 2015 following a brief illness. Dominic and his first wife Joan were charter members of The Nutmeg Winnies of Connecticut. Dominic and Anne, avid motorcyclists, were members of GWTA chapters in Plainville and Bristol, CT. He was employed as a front-end loader operator at Tilcon-Tomasso until his retirement in April 2000. He held active retiree status in the IUOE Local 478 of Hamden, CT. Dominic was a Third-Degree Knight in Knights of Columbus Leo Council 917, of St. Michael's Church in Brattleboro, VT. He served as head usher and groundskeeper at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Townshend, VT. He loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman, hunter, and a gifted woodworker. He is survived by his wife, Anne (DiCesare) Giumelli Tagariello. Also surviving are five daughters from a previous marriage: Ann, Darlene, Donna, Debbie, and Joanie. Dom is survived by two step-daughters: Jennifer and Anna "Missy." Surviving also are sons-in-law, Floyd, Vincent and Tom. Dom is survived by two sisters, Jennie Andrusio and Connie Boucher; a sister-in-law, Mary Tagariello; and a brother, Donald, and his wife, Linda. Dominic is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as many grandchildren including Jessica, Joe, and Justin. Dominic is predeceased by his first wife, Joan (Rampone); a brother, George; and most recently, his step-daughter Jackie. FUNERAL NOTICE: A mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 47 Walnut St., Brattleboro, VT at 11 a.m., February 28, 2015.
