1953-2016 BRATTLEBORO Graham Gill, 62, of Brattleboro, VT, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2016, due to complications from pneumonia related to a long term battle with thyroid cancer. Graham's children were by his side when he passed. Graham was born November 25, 1953 Bromley, England. He was a long-time resident of Brattle-boro VT. Previously he worked as a chef at The Red Shutter Inn, The Windham Hill Inn, and, most recently, The Brattleboro Country Club. Graham was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Jeanne A. Gill. Graham is survived by his brother, Malcolm Gill and wife, Yolanda, of Bromley, England; sister-in-law Joanne Laflam; and sister-in-law, Jaqui Trombley and husband, Mike, of Brattleboro, VT. Graham also leaves behind his son, Devon Gill and wife, Allison, of Foxboro, MA, and his daughter, Britainy Gill and fiance, Joshua Harpst, of North Reading, MA. Graham enjoyed fishing, boating, dining out at new places and providing his chef's opinion of the food. Graham loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed in the lives of his children. SERVICES: Graham's life will be celebrated at Atamaniuk Funeral Home, 40 Terrace St., Brattleboro on Saturday, February 20, 2016, with calling hours from 12noon to 2p.m. Following calling hours, the Brattleboro Country Club will be generously hosting a reception.
