Harry (Skip) C. Tirrell, Jr.

1945 - 2015 SWANZEY, N.H. Harry (Skip) C. Tirrell, 70, a resident of Homestead Avenue passed away July 31, 2015 at Cheshire Medical Center. Skip was born in Northampton, MA on June 1, 1945 the son of Harry C. and Jeanne (Rock) Tirrell, Sr. and attended local schools. Skip worked as a lift operations mechanic for Mt. Snow for many years. Skip was a master salmon fisherman and loved salmon fishing in Oswego, NY with his friends, Kevin Butler, Roy Schopman, his father and all his friends in New York. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping playing softball and following NASCAR. His main passion in life was his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Skip is survived by his wife, Brenda (Bunnie) Tirrell of Swanzey, NH, sons, Keven Tirrell and his wife, Deborah of Wilmington and Craig Tirrell and his wife, Lisa of Swanzey, daughters, Kathie Froment and her husband, Scott of Wilmington and Karen Beam Pronovost and her husband, John of West Dover, brothers, George Dooley Tirrell and his wife, Gina of Southampton, MA and Michael Tirrell of Ware, MA, sister, Dianne Murphy of Ware, MA, 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Skip will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 3:30pm at Covey-Allen & Shea Funeral Home, 44 East Main Street, Wilmington, VT. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 2:30 to 3:30pm, one hour prior to the service.
