1955 - 2015 SAN DIEGO, CA Ms. Janice Soll, 60, lost her long and courageous battle with Medastatic Breast cancer March 21, 2015 at home with her companion and her daughter by her side. She was born in the Bronx, NY on January 2, 1955; she is the daughter of Annie Landeau) Irving Soll. Janice attended Music and Art High School in Upper Manhattan, graduating in 1972. She then attended Keene State College in Keene, New Hampsshire. Janice was a very free spirited person, that accepted people for the who they were and not by someone elses standards. She enjoyed reading, gardening, time at the ocean playing on the beach with her two dogs Gracie (a Jack Russell Terrier) and Pablo (a cross between a Chihuahua & a Min Pin). But the thing she loved most was playing with her grandchildren. She and her daughter moved to Brattleboro in 1985 and she was employed at Prospect Park Press until making the move to San Diego with her companion, Bruce Becker in 2005. In San Diego she found work managing several Doctors' offices before becoming the Club Manager and Editor of the Allante Insider, the offical magazine of the Allante Club of America and its President, Tom Rohner . She is survived by her partner of 10+ years, Bruce A Becker, daughter, Aurora Messier, grandson, Gabriel Messier, granddaughter, Jazmin Messier, mother, Annie Soll, sisters; Carol Chaimaowitz and her husband, Ron of NY, Linda Binder and her husband, Gilbert of North Bend, OR, as well as, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Irving Soll.
