Jean A. Coburn Obituary
Windham-Jean Alicia Coburn, 86, of Windham passed away peacefully at her Son Alan's Home in Alabama on Saturday, November 5th, 2016.

She was born in Guilford on March 7th, 1930, the daughter of Roy and Lillian (Maynard) Ingraham.

She attended Leland & Gray Seminary in Townshend, and was later married to Donald Coburn, who predeceased her. She worked for Dr. Carlos Otis who was affiliated with Grace Cottage Hospital. For several years she worked part-time at the Weston Bowl Mill. After her retirement, she spent time doing volunteer work for the hospital and was the Windham Town Tax Collector. She also worked as a volunteer at the Windham Public library.

Mrs. Coburn was an active member of the Windham Congregational Church and was a member and Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, country music, was an avid bird watcher, liked gardening, and above all cherished her feline companions. She took great pride in her garden and adored her family. She was also an accomplished cook and baker.

Mrs. Coburn is survived by three sons, Francis Coburn of West Wardsboro, Roy Coburn of Windham, Alan Coburn of McCalla, Alabama and Daughter, Dolly Oosterman, Homosassa, Florida; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband, Donald Coburn, Mrs. Coburn was predeceased by two brothers, Maynard Ingraham and Wayne Ingraham; four sisters, Rachel Callahan, Mabel Praught, Elizabeth Sprague and Winoa Hoard.

SERVICES: A memorial service for Mrs. Coburn will be held on November 19th, 2016, at the Windham Congregational Church at 1:00PM.
