1932 - 2016 ALSTEAD, NH Jeanne (Krayer) Castellano of Alstead, N.H., formerly of Armonk, N.Y. passed away on Friday, July 8th, 2016. She was born in Mount Kisco, N.Y. March 28", 1932 a few minutes ahead of her identical twin sister Anne (who passed away only 18 days ago from unrelated circumstances.) Cherished wife of the late John "Cas" Castellano. Devoted and loving mother to her five sons, John of Mahopac, NY, Thomas and his wife Laune of Temecula, CA, Steven of Keene, NH, Victor and his wife Maria of Alstead, NH and Michael and his wife Megan of Carmel, NY, her beloved grandchildren, Jeff and his wife Rosie, Brian and his wife Jen, Matt, Andy, Gianna and Lauren and her two beloved great grandchildren Olivia and Brittany. She is also survived by her sister Elizabeth, her nephew Daniel, her great nieces Danielle (Misty) and Tammy and her great nephew Austin. All who will miss her dearly. Jeanne was a communicant of All Saints Parish and she attended Holy Mass at both St. Peter and St. Catherine Churches; she was a member of the All Saints Altar and Rosary Society. Her famous blueberry and apple pies were always sought after at the annual bazaars and suppers. She was also an adorer for many years at St. Charles Church Eucharistic Adoration Chapel. Her deep and true love for her Lord was above all else in her life and praying for those in need had always been a main focus in her life. The family thanks all the caregivers from Ascentria Care Alliance, at Langdon Place, Westwood, and Cheshire Medical, who took care of their loved one so wonderfully during the last year of her life. FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 14th, from 5 to 8 pm at the Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home in Bellows Falls, Vt. A funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Steven Lepine, on Friday July 15th, at 11 a.m. at Saint Peter's Church, North Walpole. Burial will follow the service in the West Cemetery, East Alstead. A luncheon to be held at Saint Peter's Hall after burial.
