Larry S. Riley Obituary
Brattleboro- Larry Stuart Riley, 53 of Upper Dummerston Road died unexpectedly Monday afternoon, December 12, 2016 in the Emergency Department at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.

Larry was born in St. Albans, Vermont on May 23, 1963 the son of Stuart F. and June H. (Wetherby) Riley. He was raised and educated in Hinsdale and was a graduate of Hinsdale High School, Class of 1981.

For the past twenty five years and up until the time of his passing Larry had been employed at Fulflex of Vermont. Previously he had worked at Fibermark in Brattleboro.

Larry was known for his spirit of friendship and generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Of his pastimes and interests, he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and taking trips with his wife. The couple also enjoyed attending concerts throughout the New England area both rock and more recently blues music. He also was an excellent cook and enjoyed dinning out with his wife and family.

Larry was a faithful and devoted husband who cherished his family, especially his mother.

On May 1, 1999 in Bernardston he was married to his best friend of 26 years Cecile "Ce Ce" LeBlanc who survives.

Besides his loving wife he leaves his mother, June Swift of Hinsdale, two sisters, Linda Castine of Dummerston and Debbie LaVoie of Ocoee, Florida, a step-sister, Brenda Phillips of Putney and three step-brothers, Stewart, Gary and Larry Swift all of Texas. Additionally he leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and several cousins.

He was predeceased by his step-father Donald Swift who he was extremely fond of, and a half-sister, Cheryl Swift.

SERVICES: A memorial gathering in celebration of his life will be held on Sunday from 1 to 4 P.M. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles on Chickering Drive.

A memorial service will start at 1:30 P.M. to be officiated by Mr. Walter Roberts. Those who are planning on attending are encourage to share their fondest memory of Larry.

There are no calling hours at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Larry's name may be made to Rescue Inc., P.O. Box 593, Brattleboro, VT 05302.
