1916 - 2014 SERVICES: A Memorial Service for Margaret Alice Thompson DiFredo will be held 10 a.m. June 20, 2015, at the Christian Family Circle Church on Back Westminster Road in Westminster, VT, with Pastor Rick Blaisdell officiating. A light lunch at the church will follow the burial service in the Westminster Cemetery. Margaret was born in Lynn, MA, on January 12, 1916, the 2nd of 10 children to Herbert and Louise (Deslex) Allen. She went to be with the Lord on Sept. 20, 2014, while living in Asheville, NC. She married Paul Thompson on May 24, 1941 and was divorced on Dec. 1, 1954. She married Pelligrino DiFredo on Jan 23, 1965. Margaret spent most of her working life taking care of children and the elderly. She loved the Lord and she spread the Good News to anyone who would listen. Her favorite pastimes' were working in a garden, especially if it contained flowers or raspberry bushes, playing Chinese checkers, collecting stamps, swimming, diving and keeping up with all her many friends. She was generous with her time and her belongings. She is survived by her three children, Judith (Lawrence) Deiley of Boothbay, ME, Trina (Steven) Janeczek of Bull Shoals, AR and Thomas (Catriana) Thompson of Keene, NH, eight grandchildren: Thomas Deiley, Janson Casell, Lillian Streck, Melissa Chisamore, Belinda Hamelin, Thomas Thompson Jr, Christopher Thompson, Blake Thompson, 19 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, four siblings: Beatrice Allen of Bellows Falls, VT, Gladys (Charles) Trombley of Broken Arrow, OK, Russell (Marjory) Allen of Westminster, VT, Jeanne Daisy French of Bellows Falls, VT, and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her grandson, Janson, his wife, Julia and their four children, Clay, Cecelia, Kate and Will, with whom she lived most of the last five years. She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings (William, Walter, Raymond, Francis, and John), both husbands and one grandchild, Debbie Deiley Zufelt. Memorials may be made to Charismatic Teaching Ministries (a.k.a. Charles Trombley Ministries), 293 W. Ithaca St, Broken Arrow, OK 74012-7930. Arrangements are by Fenton & Hennessey of Bellows Falls, Vermont.
