NORTH MIDDLESEX, VT The Reverend Mary Robb Mansfield died from lymphoma Monday, March 21 at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT. Mary was born in Brattleboro, the daughter of the late Hermon F. and Bertha (Haynes) Robb and was raised on the Robb Farm in West Brattleboro. Mary attended UVM, Albany State and Syracuse University She taught English at Jordan- Elbridge High School in Elbridge, NY. Mary felt a calling to the priesthood and attended seminary at Bexley Hall in Rochester, NY, earning a M. Div with Distinction. She served as a Deacon at St. Paul's, Owego, NY. Later, after returning to Vermont, she served the congregation of St. John's in the Mountains in Stowe, VT for nearly a decade. Mary is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard Mansfield, a daughter Jennifer H. Mansfield and her husband Bruce Parisi, grandson MacLean of Merrimac, MA; son Richard H. Mansfield, Jr. and wife Lydda, grandson Bronson of Tipp City, OH; and son Robb Pearson Mansfield and wife, Mary, grandson Dane, granddaughter Maeve of Del Mar, CA. Her three brothers also survive her: Thomas Robb of Scarsdale, N.Y., John Robb of Watertown, CT, and Charles Robb of W. Brattleboro, VT. FUENRAL SERVICE: A celebration of her life will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, State Street, Montpelier, VT at 4 PM on Saturday, April 2nd. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing in her name to the Outreach Programs at Christ Church or the Building Fund at North Branch Nature Center, 713 Elm Street, Montpelier, VT.
