Michele Lee

BELLOWS FALLS Michele Ruth (Edson) Lee (52) passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2015.Born in Greenwich, Conn. on July 2, 1962 to John and Ruth Edson, Michele grew up in Norwalk Conn. and graduated from Brien McMahon High School in 1980. Michele is survived by her loving sons, Steven Lee and Tommy Hendricks Jr.; daughters, Melissa Hendricks and Laurie Griffus; and many grandchildren. She is also survived by her step-mother, Roz Edson; brother, Michael Edson; and sisters, Suzanne Torre and Kyle Russo. She was preceded in death by both parents, John and Ruth Edson. She held many jobs throughout her life and always took great care and pride, as an employee whether it was working at McDonald or as a health aide at Maplewood & Bordeaux Nursing Home, which she loved best giving the care and dignity to those who so deserved to have it in the last days of their life. She had been a LNA for many years. Michele was a, vibrant, extremely loving and caring person, who took in without question anyone who needed a place to stay -- young teens turned out by their parents or young adults who were homeless -- her door was always open. She would do things to make random strangers smile because she loved to brighten the days of others. She loved being of service to others, and touched the hearts of everyone she met, her family meant everything to her, and that is what everyone will remember her for. Her other passions [interests] included, horses, birds, and her plants. She also loved books on tape, and computer puzzle games. Her wise soul and wisdom brought comfort to many, especially her family. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 18 at FOLEY FUNERAL SERVICES at 49 Court St. Keene, N.H. The viewing will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. with remembrances at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wildlife Fund in Michele's memory.
