Priscilla G. Carpenter Obituary
Randolph, VT - Priscilla G. Carpenter, 94, passed away peacefully at her home in Randolph on Wed., Sept. 6, 2017.

Born in Randolph on Oct. 11, 1922, she was the daughter of Loeata and Edson Gifford Sr. of East Randolph. On Dec. 29, 1940, she married the late Russell F. Carpenter in Randolph. Priscilla grew up in East Randolph, attended E. Randolph Elementary School, Randolph High School and the Burlington Business College. Through her career she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for several businesses throughout the State of Vermont. Priscilla has lived in East Randolph, Burlington, Randolph, Saxtons River, Bellows Falls, Middlebury, and Lake Elmore.

Priscilla is loved and mourned by her 3 sons and their wives, Russell & Donna from Middlebury, James & Jeanne from Hilo, HI, Donald & Lynne from Joe's Pond; daughter Cynthia Sheehan from Rutland; sister Marilyn Sargeant from Randolph; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

During her lifetime, Priscilla was very active in supporting her family, the Order of Eastern Star, various community organizations, and her church. She loved to cook, sew, knit, garden and help do crafts with her daughter. SERVICES: A celebration of Life service will be held at Bethany United Church of Christ in Randolph on Wed., Oct. 11th at 11:00 am.
