Ralph E. Coleman Obituary
Jamaica - Ralph Edwin Coleman, 68 of Jamaica, Vermont died peacefully on 11/27/16 with his wife and daughters surrounding him. He was born 5/18/48 in Brattleboro, VT, son of Lawrence and Dorothy Coleman.

Ralph was a lifelong resident of Jamaica, VT. He was educated at a one-room school house in Rawsonville, Leland & Gray Seminary in Townshend and the University of Vermont. He spent the majority of his life as a farmer and forester; loving the Vermont land.

He was well known for his understanding of his civic responsibilities and was dedicated to not only his family but his entire community.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife Kathy, his daughters Aimee, Melissa and Katie and their families, to whom he was their beloved Boppa.

SERVICES: Ralph fought a courageous battle against Multiple Myeloma. A celebration of life will happen in the spring at one of Ralph's favorite places "The Rafters at Derrybrook". There will be no calling hours but friends are encouraged to stop by the family home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Ralph's name to The 's Relay of Life of Windham County - Ralph's Raiders team.

The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the BMH oncology team and Agnes Mikijaniec, APRN, BMH third floor staff, DHMC hematology unit and Dr. Kenneth Meehan, and the GCH hospice care staff and Dr. Robert Backus.
