1919 - 2015 BELLOWS FALLS, VT. Stephena Constance Jurkoic Zielinski, 95, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015. She was born November 14, 1919 to Raphael and Bronislawa (Paliga) in Bellows Falls. She married Joseph Zielinski July 4, 1938. Steph worked at the Tannery, Liquidometer and then Simmons Precision until retiring at age 70. Steph liked to crochet and made afghans for family and friends and did various crafts. She met with her co-workers Mabel, Nellie, Ginny, Judy and others the first Wednesday of each month for lunch and then dessert at her house. Polka & country music kept her feet tapping and her hands clapping. She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Paige (Edmund), Marie Nemkovich (Dale) and son, William Zielinski. Her grandchildren; Eric Paige, Darcy Wallace (Byron), Lisa Coyne (Matt), David Zielinski (Karla), Ethan Nemkovich, and Elissa Stuhlinger (Bill). Great-grandchildren; Brendan, Brittany, Francesca, Caelan, Arianna, Alana and Kiernan Coyne, Shyla Wallace and Minka Stuhlinger. Step-grandchildren, Meghan, Tess and Max Wallace. Her second family, Fred, Ted and Paul Waryas who she thought of as her boys. Her sister, Helen Anderson and brother, Anthony Jurkoic and many nieces and nephews. Also her former daughter-in-law, Janice Miller who remained close to her. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Joseph, sisters, Lottie Green, Lillian DeLouis and Stella Kissell, also her brother, Dr. Joseph Jurkoic. She was also predeceased by her companion, Woodrow Shaw. FUNERAL NOTICE: There will be calling hours 4 to 6p.m. Friday, August 28th at Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home in Bellows Falls, VT. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11a.m. Saturday, August 29th at the St. Charles Church in Bellows Falls with burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Westminster, VT. Thank you to Patty and the staff at Sterling House for making her feel at home and Rose for all the times she took Steph to her appointments.
