Leona Bills Fuller

BARRE Leona Elnora Bills Fuller, "Ona", passed away peacefully on May 4, 2014 at the Berlin Hospital in Barre, Vt., surrounded by her two daughters, Barbara and Natalie, as well as their loving families. Leona was born in Jamaica, Vt. and was married and divorced to John W. Fuller, deceased. They also had a son, John B. Fuller, who died at age 19. She moved to Wilmington when her children were young and worked for Dr. Milton Wolf for many years. She also had been the head chambermaid at The Andirons Motel for several years. Upon her retirement Leona moved to West Branch Apts. in Stowe, Vt. where she resided for 30 years. Here she had many friends and they enjoyed wonderful times together. For the past four years she has lived at the Berlin Health and Rehab facility in Barre, Vt. She leaves her daughter, Barbara and her husband, John Pike, of Bullhead City, Ariz., and their five children, Kim and her husband, Brian McCormick, of Yarmouth Port, Mass., John G. Pike of Boston, Mass.. Alan and his wife, Lisa Werner, of Shelburne, Vt.. Scott and his wife, Colleen Pike, of Milton, Vt., and adopted son, Joshua Pike, Brownsville, Vt. She also leaves her daughter, Natalie and her husband, Harlon Sparks, of New Hartford, N.Y., and their two children, Jacqueline and Neal Gray,of Marietta, Ga., and Douglas and Jacqueline Sparks of Newark Valley, N.Y. Her Pike great-grandchildren are James, Brittany, Seth, Ashley, Hunter, Sage, Boaz, Nina and Safari. Her Sparks great-grandchildren are Derek and Elizabeth. She also leaves a sister, Doris Clark of Springfield, Vt. "Ona" was dearly loved and respected by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed in our lives. Private gravesite services will be held at a later date in the Riverview Cemetery at Wilmington, Vt.. by the COVEY, ALLEN AND SHEA FUNERAL HOME in Wilmington, Vt.
