Leonard J. Nadeau Retired Lutheran Pastor of Stillwater,MN BRATTLEBORO, VT Pastor Leonard Nadeau, 72, passed away peacefully on Dec. 19, 2010. He is survived by Dr. Janice Winchester Nadeau, wife of 52 years; daughter, Laurinda Nadeau; sons, Michael (Amy), Mark (Margarita); son-in-law, C. Brian Wetherby; honorary daughter, Pastor Valerie Brown; grandchildren, Bonnie, Devan and Brian Wetherby, Brandon Stevens, Maggie and Tommy Waller, Emily Brown, Valery Jusys, and Alexander Nadeau; his mother, Yvonne Nadeau; siblings, Armand J. Nadeau II (Sue), Betty Lou Whipple (Don), Sylvia Heath (Cliff), Paul Nadeau (Evelyn), David Nadeau. He was predeceased by his daughter Cindy Nadeau Wetherby, brother Gary Nadeau and Father Armand J. Nadeau. Leonard served five years in the Air Force and taught high school English in Rutland, Vt., for 14 years. He served as a pastor at Shepherd of the Hills, Shoreview, Minn., Trinity Lutheran, Stillwater, Minn., and Eau Clair, Grantsburg, Stockholm and Balsam Lake, Wisc. Len's passions included dancing, cooking, story telling, art, books, movies, games, playing piano and writing poetry. MEMORIAL NOTICE: a memorial service in Brattleboro is pending for this summer.
