Everardo Moreno Ayala, 74, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2013, at Brownsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brownsville, Texas.
Affectionately called "Tulolo" by his children Everardo treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren whom he loved immensely. "Lalo" as his friends called him was often engaged in long conversations reminiscing about funny moments and early years in Monterrey, Mexico. Everardo was a man of the earth who enjoyed long walks and planting his own garden. Lalo loved listening and dancing to Norteño corridos and music from old Mexico. A lively spirit has left us to spin his storytelling, tell his jokes, and share his laughter with those who left before him in Heaven above.
Mr. Moreno is preceded in death by his loving wife Maria Matilde Castro de Moreno, his father, Marcial Moreno Bayesteros, and his mother Toribia Ayala de Moreno.
Everardo Moreno is survived by his sons Marcial (Mihaela) Moreno and Javier (Bianca) Moreno; daughter Griselda (Rodrigo) Garcia; grandchildren: Arielle Moreno, Anthony Moreno, Rebecca Moreno, Samantha Moreno, Javier Moreno, Aldo Moreno, Rodrigo Garcia and Maya Garcia; brother: Antonio Moreno Ayala; sister: Teresa Moreno de Ruiz; numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Marcial Moreno, Javier Moreno, Rodrigo Garcia, Antonio Moreno, Enafael Cabrera and Jesus Dominguez.
