Henry Lockhart Harrison, 80, was born on June 10, 1933, in Brownsville, Texas. He was the husband of Magdalena Tanguma Harrison.

He was an Army Veteran who served during the Korean War.

One of his gifts was he knew no strangers and lived life to its fullest.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Magdalena Tanguma Harrison.

Henry was the proud father of Betty Jean Harrison, Henry Steve Harrison, James Harrison, Esther Harrison, Margaret Canny, Charlene Clough, and Lucy Harrison Brown, who all survive him. He also is survived by a brother, Charles Harrison; a sister, Margaret Groomer, and 13 grandchildren.

We will miss him as he joins hands with Magdalena in his second life among the angels.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. with a chapel service at 1 p.m. on Sunday August 18, 2013, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home.

Interment will follow to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Military honors will be conducted at the gravesite by the VFW Post 2035 Honor Guard.
