Dolores M. Saldivar, 77, of Brownsville, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Feb. 25, 2013, at her residence surrounded in the loving embrace of her immediate family.
Mrs. Saldivar was born on Aug. 20, 1935, and has been a lifetime resident of Brownsville and a proud member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her husband, Conrado Saldivar; three sons, Conrado (Virginia) Saldivar Jr., Elias (Herlinda) Saldivar and Rodolfo (Maribel) Saldivar; two daughters, Nora Alicia (Arnoldo) Muniz and Maria Isabel (Rogelio) Garza; her sister, Guadalupe Meza; her brother, Juan Meza; her daughter-in-law, Eva Saldivar (wife of Gonzalo); 15 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Saldivar was preceded in death by her daughter, Cristina Saldivar; son, Gonzalo Saldivar; brother, Santana Meza; and her parents, Gonzalo and Dolores E. Meza.
Visitation will begin from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, with a 7 p.m. rosary. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Conrad Saldivar, Chris Saldivar, Arnoldo Muniz, Adrian Muniz, Elias Saldivar Jr., Eloy Saldivar, Rogelio Garza Jr. and Rodolfo Saldivar Jr.
