ANTHONY CESAR GARCIA, and

BRANDON MICHAEL GARCIA

SSG Felipe Antonio Garcia, 38, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, in Hallettsville, Texas.

SSG Felipe Antonio Garcia was a member of A CO 1-141 Infantry San Antonio, Texas. Previous Unit A CO 3-141 Infantry Brownsville, Texas. He graduated from Calaheo High School in Kailua, Hawaii, in 1993. He previously served in the USMC from 1993-1997, the USMC Reserve 1997-1999 and entered service with the TXARNG in 2000 - present. He also served in OEF from 2005-2006, Operation Jump Start from 2006-2007, served in OIF from 2007-2008 and served another tour from 2008-2009.

SSG Felipe Antonio is survived by his daughter, Renee Antwanette Villarreal of Brownsville; mother, Belinda Garcia, and father, Cesar Rodriguez Garcia, of Brownsville; sister, Jamie Renee Garcia of Brownsville; brothers, Orlando Alberto Garcia and Cesar Roman Garcia of El Paso, Texas; grandparents, Felipe De Jesus Villarreal Sr. and Maria De La Luz Villarreal.

Serving as pallbearers will be members of the Texas National Guard.

SSG Garcia will be buried with military honors provided by the Texas National Guard.

Anthony Cesar Garcia, 10, and Brandon Michael Garcia, 8, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, in Hallettsville, Texas.

Anthony Cesar and Brandon Michael are preceded in death by their great-grandparents, Miguel Salazar and Francisca Salazar.

Anthony Cesar and Brandon Michael are survived by their mother, Anabel Salazar; half-brother, Scott Montoya; grandfather, Eugenio Salazar; grandmother, Ninfa Salazar; uncles, Eugenio Salazar Jr. and Efrain Salazar; aunt, Nancy Salazar; and cousins, Esteban M. Salazar and Emilio A. Salazar.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 5 p.m. today, Friday, June 22, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Visitation will continue from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 1218 E. Jefferson St.

A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with a committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
