Hilario Aldape Flores, 77, passed away at his home in Brownsvill, Thursday, March 29, 2012.|
Hilario was a devoted father, grandpa, husband, brother, uncle and friend. He retired from Edelstein's Better Furniture after 35 years of service. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family. He was a devout Catholic and member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Mr. Hilario Aldape was preceded in death by his wife, Inocensia O. Aldape; parents, Guadalupe and Juan Aldape; brothers, Anselmo, Candelario, Salvador and Evaristo Aldape; and sisters, Juanita Aldape, Guadalupe Lerma, Virginia Rodriguez and Eloisa Tabarez.
He is survived by his children, Hilario (Belinda) Aldape Jr., Patricia Aldape, Diana (Miguel) Hernandez and Laura (Brad) Binder; brothers, Bernardo (Maria...) Aldape and Anselmo "Chemo" Aldape; sisters, Magdalena (Cesar) Lopez and Salome (Jesus) Cantu; and grandchildren, Paulina, Brandon and Rebekah Binder, Hilario Aldape III and Mariana, Guillermo and Alejandro Hernandez.
Visitation will be today Sunday, April 1, from noon to 9 p.m. with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe 1200 E. Lincoln on Monday, April 2.
Committal service will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Anselmo Aldape, Evaristo Aldape Jr., Arturo Cantu, Brandon Binder, Guillermo Hernandez and Hilario Aldape III. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Binder and Miguel Hernandez.
