Baby Jacob Anthony Acosta

Baby Jacob Anthony Acosta passed peacefully in the arms of his loving

parents at Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, on

Jan. 21, 2013. He was born on Jan. 16, 2013.

While "Jake" was with us for only a brief period of time, the impact

Jacob had on the lives of those who loved him will be felt throughout

the rest of our lives.

He taught us in five short days, the meaning of

fighting to overcome adversity. While his body could not sustain his

physical being, his spirit will remain with all of us who were fortunate to

have known him, if only for a little while.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." - Matthew 19:14

Gloria Rodriguez and Arthur D. Acosta; his sisters, Leandra, Carmen, and
