Jorge Luis "CON" Vasquez, 48, our beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend entered into the glory of his eternal life on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital in Chicago, IL, surrounded by his loving family.|
Con was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by those fortunate to have known him. Con was known by many because of his love for Karate and in Chicago for his wrestling and wrestling masks that he made.
He is survived by his loving mother Flora Vasquez; a sister Nora Padilla; two brothers, Miguel and Rene Vasquez; his wife, Patricia; 5 daughters, 1 son; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013. Interment will follow to Buena Vista Burial Park.
