Juanita P. Gonzalez 73, of Brownsville, Texas, went home to be with Our Lord on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012.|
Juanita lived in Watsonville, Calif. before moving back home to Brownsville, Texas. Her all time favorite pastimes were playing bingo, loteria, cooking delicious meals, and watching her novelas.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, David S. Gonzalez; her parents, Inocencio and Enriqueta Perales; brother, Juan S. Perales; and her sister-in-law, Maria R. Perales.
Juanita is survived by her sister Guadalupe (Lupita) Eagan; Nieces and Nephews Edna Linda Perales-Garcia, Leticia Perales-Ybarra, Juan Perales Jr., Danny Perales, Eliseo, Rolando, and Hector Gonzalez; great nephew Vincent Lugo Jr.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, from 2 to 9 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. in the North Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Juan Perales Jr., Danny Perales, Vincent Lugo Jr., and Johnny Garcia.
Honorary Pallbearers are Rey Eagan, Maria Orta, and Evie Cecil.
The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice Care, Dr. Minina, and Maria Orta.
